Who we are
Innermedia Properties manages short-term rental apartments in Los Angeles. “Innermedia Guest Contacts” is an internal tool used only by us, the property owner, with our own Google account.
What the tool does
For guests who have a reservation with us, the tool creates a contact in our own Google Contacts — the guest’s name, the apartment and the stay dates, and the phone number the guest gave for the booking — so that calls and messages from our guests show their names on our phone. Contacts are kept as our record of past and upcoming guests; a contact is removed when its booking is cancelled.
Google data we access
- Google Contacts of the connected account — to create, update and delete only the contacts that the tool itself created. These are marked with a label; contacts we did not create are never read for other purposes, changed or deleted.
- The email address of the connected account — only to confirm that the right account is connected.
How we use and share data
Data is used only for the purpose above. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Guest details come from our own reservations (booking channels through our property management system) and are stored on our own server, accessible only to us.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
The connected account can revoke the tool’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. A guest who would like their contact removed sooner can write to us.
